Book Speed Dating

After “Book Speed Dating” with 6^th and 7^th grade for a week, the "hold" shelf was bursting at the seams with all the great books waiting for students to come and pick up.  Book Speed Dating is an activity where students have an opportunity to spend 3 minutes with a book  - looking at the cover, reading the blurb, and starting to read – before rating the book and moving on to the next book.  Our Jaguars had a great time and found some great new books to love!
