This week students have been creating rubber band cars
(Zoom Machines). This activity
challenges the students to not only be creative, but to persevere through even
when the car is not working properly and needs adjustments. Stored up potential energy in the rubber band
is being changed into kinetic energy to power the car a minimum of 3.1
meters. Final car trials begin next
week!
